Signed on a one-week contract, Sean Selmser played a big part in helping the Giants qualify for the 2003 Continental Cup Super Finals by scoring some spectactular goals in the semi-final group stage.
Sean had recently been made unemployed by the folding of the Scottish Eagles team and many Giants fans hoped that a more permanent arrangement could be made to ensure that he stayed in Belfast. However, an offer from a Swiss club saw Sean jetting off without ever playing a league game for the Giants.
