Curtis Huppe was the final piece in the Giants jigsaw for the 2004-05 season. He arrived in Belfast from the ECHL with a reputation for being a fast powerful forward capable of scoring almost as many as he would set up.
However, it took some time after his arrival for Curtis to begin racking up any points. Once he got started though, he never looked back, and come the end of the season he had managed an average of one point per game.
Two further seasons with the Giants saw a league title win for Curtis before a drop off in goal scoring saw an acrimonious end to his Giants career when he was dropped for Ed Courtenay to return to playing.
