One of the crop of local players signed at the dawn of the EIHL, McGimpsey has continued to improve with each outing in a Giant's shirt and has appeared confident on the few occasions that he has started in a game.
Having previously played for local teams, such as the Castlereagh Knights, the US born net-minder, has still to prove himself worthy of a number one spot in the pro-leagues.
