Fife hit for five.
28-Dec-2004The Belfast Giants returned from their Christmas break to record a 5-2 win over Fife Flyers in yesterdays Cross League game at the Odyssey Arena.
The Giants five goals came from four different players, Hand, Awada, Levers and Kelman with two. Diarmuid Kelly notched up another outstanding performance setting up three of the Giants goals and fully deserving of the Man of the Match award.
Last nights victory avenged a 6-5 overtime away loss to the Scottish club earlier this month. The Giants have no time to rest though, as they have to prepare for what is guaranteed to be a fast and feisty battle against long-time foes, the Nottingham Panthers, this thursday night at the Odyssey.
