Kelly's A Hero!
07-Aug-2004It has been confirmed today in the local press that Diarmuid Kelly has now signed for the Belfast Giants.
Kelly, 22, from Alberta, Canada, played in the WHL for four seasons before moving to the CHL's Colorado Eagles last season, where he made a few appearances playing alongside former Giants goalie Ryan Bach.
The story behind Kellys signing has already made the Giants fans sit up and take notice. However it is what a player does on the ice that matters and those who witnessed him on the ice at the try-outs confirmed that he certainly appears to have what it takes to compete in the EIHL.
