Forum Upgrade

We have upgraded our forum software. The full forum has been converted over to the new forum software, so your username / posts / postcount will be intact. phpBB3 handles passwords more securely than phpBB2 did, so your password may not convert automatically.

If it didn’t convert, you will get the following message on login:

"It was not possible to convert your password when updating this bulletin board’s software. Please request a new password. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator."

To request a new password, do the following.

  • Click the ‘request a new password’ link.
  • Enter your username and the email address associated with your account. You can find this out before the upgrade by clicking on your ‘Profile’ above.
  • The system will send you an email with a link in it and a new password. (if you don't receive anything make sure you check your spam folders)
  • Click the link in the email to activate your account.
  • Then login using your username and your new password.
  • You can change your password to something you’ll remember by clicking ‘User Control Panel’, then ‘Profile’ from the menu on the left, then ‘Edit Account Settings’

    • If you have any trouble changing your registered email or logging in after the upgrade please email admin @ kingdomofthegiants.com where one of our trained monkeys will be happy to help.
