There has been a flurry of activity and signings with the Belfast Giants roster filling up their first 10 slots for the 09/10 season.
Hot on the heels of David Phillips, Colin Shields and Craig Peacock, the giants have wasted no time in signing up 4 further new faces. Tom Walsh, Sean McMorrow, Pat Bateman and Stephen Murphy. As well as returning players Nathan Craze, Graeme Walton and Shane Johnson.
D-man Walsh and Forward Bateman arrive as part of the Giants ties with the University of Ulster, both looking to complete their studies while also helping the Giants make an assault on the EIHL. Sean McMorrow arrived to be quickly be branded “The New Sheriff In Town” by the official Giants Website.
Stephen Murphy comes in as a replacement for Stevie Lyle between the pipes. The former Manchester Phoenix and Edinburgh Capitals netminder hoping to build on his Challenge Cup and Knock Out cup appearances last season.
