It's a top of the table clash tonight at the Odyssey Arena as the Belfast Giants face off against Dave Matsos' Sheffield Steelers.
The Steelers have sat unchallenged at the EIHL summit since November, and have only lost one league game in Regulation since September, in what is an impressive league run. However a series of Overtime losses, including one to the Belfast Giants over a week ago, have highlighted vulnerabilities that Steve Thornton hopes his Giants team can further exploit
Tonight also could see the home debut of recent signing Jason Rushton. However with Steve Thornton today indicating that, long time injured, Andrew Martin is soon to return to the Giants line up, one import player will be heading for the door as this recent signing puts the Giants over their 10 import limit upon Martin's return. So all will be out tonight to prove their worth to Thornton.
Tonight's game is being recorded for Sky Sports and will be broadcast on Sky Sports Xtra on Friday at 5pm.
