After a draw at the Odyssey last night, the short benched Belfast Giants came away with full points from these evening's road trip to Manchester.

Coach Stewart opened the scoring in the first period, and Mark Morrison joined him on the score card, with his first goal in the teal and white. Manchester fought back with goals from Awada and Bultje in the second to draw level and took the lead in the third period through Darcy Anderson.

Paxton Schulte got the equaliser for Belfast, and Paul Sample finished the job to give Belfast the vital points.

Belfast also benefitted tonight, from two upsets elsewhere in the league, with Basingstoke beating Nottingham 3-2, and Cardiff beating Sheffield 3-2.
