KotG MVP 2007/2008 - Mark Dutiaume
20-Mar-2008Receiving over one third of the votes in this year's KotG MVP voting (with a total of 34.9% of the vote) was Magical Mark Dutiaume, who received his award from KotG photographer and occasional live text updater Marc "Squeek" Bell on the ice after the Giants victory in Dundalk over the Basingstoke Bison.
Dutes joins an impressive list of prior winners which includes some of the all time Giants greats such as Jason Ruff and Theo Fleury.
With many injuries early on in the year Dutes was asked to slide back onto defence, and put in performance after performance to help solidify things at the back while others around him returned to fitness. Meanwhile he has still managed to continue at more than one point per game through the season, a testament to his skill on the ice. Congratulations to Mark Dutiaume, 2007/2008 KotG MVP.
