The Coors Belfast Giants slumped even further last night as they went down 2-0 to the Hull Stingrays. Goals from Mitchell and Cabana allowed the Stingrays their 3rd league win of the season, while the Giants suffered their 6th loss in 8 league games, 8th loss in 10 games over all.
There was a large turn out at the Dundalk IceDome for the first EIHL game outside of the UK, and the first of 4 league games held by the Giants in the Co. Louth town.
Ed Courtenay is now feeling the pressure as they return to Cardiff, the site of their early season Challenge Cup hammering. He has suggested that many of the players are fighting for their jobs in these games and another defeat could see wholesale changes in the Belfast team
