Giants' Pre-Season Games in Dundalk
28-Jun-2007 | Discuss this ArticleThe Coors Belfast Giants have announced that they will be holding a pre-season mini camp in Dundalk Ice Dome starting on Wednesday, 29th August 2007, followed by back to back pre-season games on Friday (31st) and Saturday (1st Sept).
Their opponents for both of the pre-season games will be Huddinge, who play in the Swedish Allsvenskan league, one level below the Swedish Elite League.
This is the first time, since the days of the BT Ice Cup, that the Giants will have participated in pre-season games. The BT Ice Cup ran for two (pre-)seasons and was last held before the start of the 2002-2003 season, when the Giants competed against teams from Mulhouse (France), Sodertalje (Sweden) and Troja Ljungby (Sweden).
