The Coors Belfast Giants scored one over their rivals by confirming the long-standing rumour that they have snared Jeff Hutchins who iced for the Coventry Blaze last year in the EIHL.
Jeff is a left winger and hails from Toronto, Ontario and has played 156 ECHL games with the Mississippi Sea Wolves for 111 points with 465 pims and 53 AHL games for Houston Aeros, Rochester Americans, Grand Rapids Griffins and Bridgeport Sound Tigers for 7 points with 158 minutes.
Last year he picked up 37 points and 158 minutes from 40 games for the Blaze and Giants fans will be hoping he can up that points tally for next year.
The Giants also confirmed the re-signing of forward Curtis Huppe, as reported last week in the local media
