Belfast Giants coach Ed Courtenay has today confirmed two more names for the Giants' defensive numbers. Leigh Jamieson returns for a fourth season with the club he joined as an 18 year old from Milton Keynes. An international at every level possible, everyone will be delighted to see the British talent back in our colours.
Also returning to Belfast after a season in Poland is Roman Gavalier. Remembered by many for his "Row your boat" goal celebration, Roman is one of the most accomplished D-men to wear the teal and white. An outstanding skater strong on both the penalty kill and powerplay he is also capable of chipping in with important points throughout the season.
With Roman and Leigh joining Todd Kelman on defence and Mark Dutiaume, Jason Ruff up front, Giants fans can be delighted with the start Ed Courtenay has made to putting together his team for 2006/7.
Keep your eyes peeled for more signings as and when they are announced right here on KOTG!
