29-Sep-2005 | Discuss this ArticleGB under 20 goalkeeper, Nathan Craze, will ice for the Coors Belfast Giants tonight, with both starting netminder Mike Minard (ligament damage) and backup Chris McGimpsey (broken collarbone) sidelined due to injuries.
18 year old Nathan is currently playing with the Cardiff Devils ENL side, already having played in 7 games this season, posting an 87% save average so far. You can view some of Nathan’s stats here.
KotG understands that coach Courtenay may be looking for another North American netminder, with a number of names already in the frame, in the event that Minard may require longer to recuperate. Is there a possibility that we may see the return of an ex-Giant netminder?
