Belfast Giants coach Ed Courtenay has confirmed that Shane Johnson will not be icing on Sunday against the Basingstoke Bison (5pm).
Former Basingstoke player, Matt Reid, will be making his home debut, following two away defeats last weekend. Reid is a temporary signing, playing with Belfast until Theo Fleury arrives mid-October.
With no movement on a search for a new centre, it's expected that Courtenay will be on the ice, having Johnson running the bench.
