Fleury's a Giant

The Belfast Giants have today completed the biggest signing in their 6 year history, NHL veteran Theo Fleury.
Fleury, who has iced 1084 times in "The Show" and amassed 1088 points, had been waiting on his work permit application being accepted, over which there was some doubt due to his well publicised ban from the NHL for substance abuse.
However, it was Fleury's achievements on the ice, as a Stanley Cup Winner, Canada Cup Winner, Olympic Gold Medal Winner and a 7 time NHL All-Star, which swayed the work permit decision in his favour.
Now that the red-tape is out of the way, the pint-sized forward is set to join up with his new team mates in October, as prior commitments mean that he will miss the first few weeks of the Giants' season.
