The Kingdom of the Giants website started life on 2nd January 2001 as a simple message board, used by fans of the Belfast Giants to discuss their team, the league and pretty much anything else they thought of. As the Giants' first season drew to a close, the traffic on that original message board had reached such a high level that it was decided to create a new web site, which would serve as an online community for Giants fans.
KingdomoftheGiants.com was launched on 7th August 2001, with a vastly improved message board, a chatroom and many other new features. Since then the site has gone from strength to strength, manned by its small, but dedicated, team of trained monkeys.
